"An inspired line-up in an utterly beautiful remote location. Listening to Keith Worthy spinning as the sun disappeared into the sea was damn near perfect". Jack, Friendly Fires

Complete with a sterling line up soon to be announced, SMS is curated by music lovers and promoters NEED2SOUL, DEVIATION, SUBCLUB, SECRETSUNDAZE, BRIDGING THE GAP, WARM, FAVELA CHIC, BODY AND SOUL, HYBRID LIFE, and TROUBLE VISION.

MEET THE PARTY PLANNERS:

BODY & SOUL’s legacy began in 1996 when British promoter John Davis and DJ/Producer/Remixer Francois-K launched the party at club Vinyl in New York City and were joined by residents Joaquin "Joe" Claussell and Danny Krivit. The Body & Soul Sundays became an international mecca for dance music lovers seeking to enjoy all forms of music with all the freedom of expression granted on a unified dancefloor. The party was a unique place for everyone to feel welcome, regardless of age, sex, color or social attributes.

DEVIATION BBC Radio 1 Benji B is one of the UK's most respected DJs. He has been running his club night Deviation Sessions in the East London's Gramaphone for over 3 years. Each month he installs a bespoke soundsystem on which have played the likes of Flying Lotus, J Davey, Martyn and Skream to Moodymann, Dam-Funk and many more. It is now widely regarded as one of the very best club nights in London.

Over the years, the likes of Ame, Ricardo Villalobos, Carl Craig, Tobi Neumann, Trevor Jackson, Luciano, Dan Ghenacia and Steve Bug have all graced the decks.

FAVELA CHIC is a restaurant, a bar, a club, a bordello and none of the above. It’s a gallery space, a wardrobe and an asylum, a celebration of Brazil and France and London, a rock ‘n’ roll circus “a danser la samba beat”. It’s an anachronism and a play den for the stupid, the funny and le beau. With venues in Paris and in London, Favela Chic are bringing their kaleidoscopic Franco-Brasilian musical vibe to back to the SMS shores.

TROUBLE VISION is Corsica Studios’ genre-ignoring in-house club night.
